Senior Day Success for Lady Cavs
Article by Dylan Daniels Last Thursday night was Senior Night for the Cavaliers softball as they honored Seniors Anna Hall and Emily Carter. The Cavs got off to a great start, especially offensively, and they pulled in 5 runs in the first inning against the Claxton Tigers. The offensive side of the Cavaliers’ attack is what won it for them. They had over 15 hits in the game, and it only got better as the game went on. They continued this hot streak all the way through the last inning. The Lady Cavs did have a defensive side too though and it also helped them several times in the game. Sophomore Maggie Davis had over 4 strikeouts in the game. The Tigers stood no chance against the Cavaliers because they simply played without flaw on Thursday night. As they close out the season, this 14-0 win over the Claxton Tigers helped make it a great Senior Night and an even better close to the season.Calvary 14 Claxton 0 [+]
