Varsity Boy's Continue Winning Ways

The Varsity Cavs have won their last 3 of 4, including the last two with a huge Region 3-A victory over Savannah Christian and knocking off AAAAA Windsor Forest 61-58. In the SCPS Game the Cavs got back to their dominance over the Raiders take the first win in the series 77-74. SCPS played a great second half of inspired basketball to almost take out the home standing Cavs.  Each Calvary Day starter scored in double digits, Soph. Mark Jones led the Cavs with 17 points while JR. Dominique Henfield added 16 and 12 boards.  Sr. George Turner scored 14 and  JR. Stephen Williams and Jr. Dom DeMasi each added 13 as the Cavs got back to even in Region 3-A at 2-2 (5-7). 

Windsor almost erased a 20 point first quater lead to come back on the Cavs, but the Cardiac Kids hung strong and took home the win.  Soph. Mark Jones led the way with 21 points and Jr. Dominique Henfield netted 19 for the victorious Cavaliers.  The Cavs will travel to Bryan County Tuesday night in a key Region 3-A East match-up.
